Weekly Weigh In 2

by

Do you know how hard it is to resist temptation and not go all out on your birthday? I do.

Haha. Actually, I had a great birthday despite diet restrictions and I don’t feel at a loss whatsoever for not having cake or other goodies. I even had a little fun with dinner last night and made a pretty yummy dish, if I do say so myself.

I’m feeling pretty good about things so far. After a week, I’ve noticed changes in my skin (especially the acne troubles with my face) as well as my body. I have yet to have a ‘feel fat’ day despite TOM starting on the day I started the diet.

It’s with TOM that I take the loss from last week to this week with a grain of salt. I always add a couple pounds then, so having it well and truly done this week adds to what I had lost naturally anyway.

Without further ado, here are my current numbers*:

SW: 256 pounds ~ 116 kilos
LW: 256 pounds ~ 116 kilos
CW: 250 pounds ~ 113 kilos

Six pounds down. Now who wouldn’t be happy with that? My body tends to like to take a big drop followed by steady smaller drops, so I’m certainly not expecting these kind of results every week. I am very glad, though, to have such an awesome start to my weight loss.

I have a writer’s conference in October that I would absolutely love to look ten or more pounds lighter than I did last year for, so fingers crossed for that. As soon as I get my head on a bit straighter, I’ll be making actual goals and stuff like that.

I hope you all are getting the results you want in your fitness journey. Let me know how you’re doing in the comments.

*SW = Starting Weight, LW = Last Week, CW = Current Weight
