Monday Mailbag 4
Hello and welcome to Monday Mailbag everyone!
You know how it works – MM is my tribute to my love of receiving mail (or is it just my loathing of an empty mailbox?). Every Monday I will post my question for you to answer on your blog. You then come back here and leave a link to where you’ve posted your answer so we can all get to know each other.
Easy peasy. Wanna play?
This week’s question:
They say it takes three weeks (21 days) to create a new habit. I’m entering into my third week of my restricted diet and I’m beginning to feel my body resist things a little bit. The chocolate cake looks a bit more appealing. I wonder if a little extra protein in my meal would really be that bad.
While I haven’t given in to temptation, it does make me think about the things I’ve given up and will have to stay away from for 25 (yes, I have a countdown) more days. And that makes me wonder…
In your fitness journey, what has been the hardest thing to give up? (For the most part or completely.)
Remember to leave a link to your response in the comments section! The whole point of this is to reach out, connect, and find out more about each other. I’m looking forward to reading your responses.
Previous Questions:
One - When and why did you get started on the journey to lose weight/get fit/tone up/the whole nine yards?
Two - What are you doing to get fit? Diet plan? Exercise plan? Little steps here and there? How does your plan(s) work for your personality? (Eg. Calorie counting works for me because I like numbers. I like time alone to think, so taking long walks works great for me as exercise.)
Three - In your fitness journey, what has been the hardest thing to give up? (For the most part or completely.)

Mexican food! Not so much the food itself, because I can have that. It’s more the quantities of chips and salsa and cheese dip that I miss.

Ah, yum. Yeah, Mexican food is a bit hard to control portion-wise.
