Monday Mailbag 37
I’m in need of some positive thinking and visualization exercises for the future. I want to think about my goal, ground myself a bit, and then go after it with all I have once more. I hope you’ll join me in doing so and play Monday Mailbag.
You know how it works – MM is my tribute to my love of receiving mail (or is it just my loathing of an empty mailbox?).
Every Monday I will post my question for you to answer on your blog. You then come back here and leave a link to where you’ve posted your answer so we can all get to know each other.
Easy peasy. Wanna play?
This week’s question:
When I was ’struck down’ with a recurrence of glandular fever (mono) in February, I was laid up well into May. I had absolutely no energy and slept more than I was awake. Obviously, I got well and truly out of the exercise habit.
Thankfully I started regaining my energy about mid-March, but creating and sticking to an exercise routine has always been the hiccup for me when it comes to getting healthier.
I’m wondering…
Do you have a workout routine or do you do what you can when you can? Do you feel it’s important to have a routine?
Remember to leave a link to your answer in the comments!
(If you have any question suggestions for MM, I’d be happy to hear them! I don’t promise to use all suggestions, but I do promise to read them. Thanks!)

I believe a routine is helpful ….. really, really important.
Right now I have no routine and nothing much happens.
I just do what I can when I can. I can say it doesn’t work very well.
Blessings and thanks for the question.

Thank you for stopping by. I, too, believe a routine is important. I’m trying to get myself back into one.

Routines are hard to get into. I find it hard too, so I often resort to doing what I can when I can. I’m always able to, however, squeeze in a brisk 30- to 60-minute walk per day.

If I lived in the country, getting a walk in would be much more a pleasure than a task. I just don’t feel all that safe/comfortable here, but then again, maybe I’m just paranoid. There are bike paths nearby, so I should just go for it.
