Monday Mailbag 2

by

Monday, Monday. If you know me, you know I like starting things on Mondays, so the Monday Mailbag is absolutely perfect for me. I hope you’re a Monday person, too, at least enough to participate in this week’s question.

As I mentioned last week, I love to get mail, and I know a lot of other people who like to get mail too, as long as it’s not bills or junk mail. I tend to get disappointed when I go to the mailbox and find either nothing or useless junk. The same goes for when I check my virtual mailbox.

So I decided to put a letter in everyone’s virtual mailbox every Monday. This is where you pick up your weekly letter from yours truly, answer it on your blog, and leave a note here so everyone who participates can read your response. Easy peasy!

For this week’s question, we readers get to know you and your methods (if we don’t know them already) a bit better. Monday Mailbag question 2:

What are you doing to get fit? Diet plan? Exercise plan? Little steps here and there?

How does your plan(s) work for your personality? (Eg. Calorie counting works for me because I like numbers. I like time alone to think, so taking long walks works great for me as exercise.)

That’s more than one question technically, but they kind of all flow together, don’t you think? I hope you think so because I’d like to read your answers.

Be sure to leave a link in the comments to where you’ve posted your response so I (and everyone else who stops by) and see where you’re chatting.

Thank you very, very much for participating. I hope you have a great Monday and a great week.

I don’t have a plan, per se. Lean meats, lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, reduced “bad” fat, focus on “good fat–that sort of thing. I finally figured out that other people’s diets don’t work for me. I had to figure out how to eat the things I like, but in healthier ways.

I exercise a lot, on average 45 minutes per day. Well, that’s a lot to me. :)

I do think it’s best to make changes gradually and allow yourself room to grow. It’s the consistency that is the big key, IMO.

Hope you have a great week!

Thanks for stopping by, Cammy. :)

“I had to figure out how to eat the things I like, but in healthier ways.” - That’s excellent! I reckon that’s pretty much the key to success.
